Housing and Dining

University starts here. This is where you'll make life-long friends over late-night movies, trade stories over a good meal and share the thrilling experience of living on your own for the first time.

Our six residence halls have been designed for comfort, convenience and a close-knit sense of community. They all have wireless, high-speed Internet and most have roomy lounges with flat-screen TVs, ping-pong tables, videogames and free movies. And don't forget to apply for a $1,000 Residence Entrance Scholarship!

For a taste of independent living, check out the online database of off-campus housing maintained by the University of Windsor Students' Alliance. Or apply for on-campus housing at the Clark Residences, 30 furnished townhouses with full kitchens.

Our flexible meal plans are your ticket to healthy, delicious, satisfying food from our campus restaurants, cafes and coffee shops, or use your flex account to purchase a meal from one of our off-campus partners.

Café Chez Vanier is the main residence dining hall offering alluring international dishes like maple chipotle grilled salmon or potato gnocchi with creamy spinach sauce and favourites like Chinese Buffet Night. Another campus hot spot is the Market Place food court at the CAW Student Centre to satisfy the four basic "P" food groups: pizza, pasta, pitas and paninis.

Living in the heart of the city of Windsor, you're never far from tasty local restaurants, bars and shops. On University Avenue alone, you can pick up Ethiopian food, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian, fish and chips, BBQ and Greek.
