Service Description
The University of Windsor has signed a campus agreement with Microsoft to offer a wide variety of their software on campus. The agreement provides Microsoft software for all University owned PCs, including faculty/staff PCs, research labs and student labs. Additionally, the license allows faculty and staff to install Office software on one home PC for work-related use. For more information, go to
http://uwindsor.ca/its/mscaIT Services offers installation support for all software, but the degree of support for the software varies with individual packages. For instance, full support and training is available for Word, Excel and Powerpoint, on the latest platform, but limited support is available for Access. Outlook Express is supported as an alternative e-mail client to Lotus Notes for faculty and staff and for students who use it for IMAP or POP3 to access the Student WebMail system.
