With a 20 year career in the public, private and volunteer sectors, Professor Trevor McFadyen brings extensive first hand experience to courses at the Odette School of Business.  Having served in several communications and marketing portfolios including Senior Communications Advisor to the Director-General/VP-Operations of Western and Northern Canada and Internal Communications Advisor and Renewal Team Member in the Office of the CEO/Deputy Minister of a federal agency, Professor McFadyen is able to speak unequivocally about communication and marketing challenges and successes in large organizations.

Professor McFadyen obtained his BA (English) from the University of Alberta in 1995 and his MBA from the University of Windsor's Odette School of Business and the Burgundy School of Business in Dijion, France in 2013.  He currently teaches as a lecturer in the Management Area at the Odette School of Business with a primary focus on business communications, organizational behaviour and marketing.
