Our courier goes to our U.S. warehouse on a daily basis and brings back the goods once the customs documentation has been prepared.

click here) for shipments that require declaration and e-mail the completed form to Evelyn St. Pierre at
customs@uwindsor.ca so that customs documentation can be prepared ahead of time to avoid customs delays.
We strive to provide prompt service, but due to extenuating circumstances such as heavy traffic, mechanical breakdowns and customs delays we can not guarantee that goods will arrive at the University before shipping and receiving closes for the day. Because of this please arrange for
PERISHABLE and
RUSH SHIPMENTS to be delivered to the warehouse at the beginning of the week.
WEDNESDAY MORNING is the latest that any perishable or rush shipments should arrive at the warehouse in order to be cleared by customs and delivered to shipping and receiving by the end of Friday.
CUSTOM IMPORT INFORMATION SHEETThe following sheet is to be completed for EVERY purchase you make outside of Canada.
ALL INFORMATION IS A REQUIRED FIELD. IF ANY INFORMATION IS MISSING IT WILL DELAY THE CLEARANCE OF YOUR SHIPMENT. If you require a second page for information regarding your importation please use the continuation sheet

Please explain to your exporter/vendor that
THE GOODS WILL BE IMPORTED INTO CANADA. (EVEN IF THEY ARE BEING DELIVERED TO A U.S. ADDRESS) and that this information is necessary to ensure that there is no delay in clearing your goods.
If we require additional information regarding your importation we will contact you.
IF THE GOODS ARE VALUED OVER $1600.00 CANADIAN CURRENCY AND MANUFACTURED IN A COUNTRY THAT HAS A TRADE AGREEMENT WITH CANADA PLEASE REQUEST A CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN (NAFTA).
(click here) BE COMPLETED BY MANUFACTURER/VENDOR . WE HAVE TO HAVE THE NAFTA IN HAND BEFORE WE CAN CLAIM THE PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT. THIS IS A CANADA CUSTOMS REQUIREMENT.
