The Bachelor of Theology Degree is offered cooperatively with the Ecumenical Theological Seminary (ETS) in Detroit and Huntington University in Sudbury.  It is a 90 credit, 30 course equivalent, University degree.  All the courses are offered on the Detroit/Windsor Campuses.  Huntington University courses are offered via distance education.  18 of the 90 credits are to be obtained through Huntington courses.

Through a special relationship with Queens Theological College, United Church students may complete as much as two-thirds of their theological education requirements at Iona College.

The Bachelor of Theology Degree addresses the needs of those who seek to work professionally in a Church related or other ministry. It may also be taken for general interest or serve to advance students toward a Masters degree in theology. The B.Th. is currently offered on a part-time basis. It consists of three levels of study in which ten courses are required to complete each level. Level I courses are mandatory or non-option courses.  Upon reaching levels II and III, the student is required to major in one of the following areas of study: 1) Biblical Studies; 2) Historical Theological Studies; 3) Social Philosophical Studies; 4) Pastoral Studies.
