Microsoft Campus Agreement

Service Description

Alternatively, you are allowed to download and install up to five copies of Office 365 (O365) through http://portal.office.com  using your uwinid and password.  This installation will remove any previous copies of Office you have previously installed. 
The Microsoft Campus Agreement also allows authorized University technicians to upgrade existing Microsoft Windows installations on University owned computers.  The MSCA does not cover upgrading non-University owned computers, nor does it allow a technician to install any version of Windows on a computer that does not already have a Windows license bought and paid for it.  For more information, go to http://uwindsor.ca/its/msca
IT Services offers installation support for all software, but the degree of one to one support for the software varies with individual packages.  Full support is available for Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access on the latest platform.  Outlook is supported as our latest e-mail client, Lotus Notes (as needed) for faculty and staff.  Limited support is available for the XP and Macintosh platforms.  Our current Operating Systems include Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and Apple Yosemite 10.10 and Marverick 10.9. 
ITS provides online training only with Microsoft Office Products please go to http://www.lynda.com  to register.  Select  login link then select Organization Login link; you are prompted for the Organiztion URL which is uwindsor.ca then Select go.  You are prompted for your uwinid and password.
