Science Field Course builds bridges with Walpole Island Community

A field course run co-operatively between University of Windsor/GLIER scientists Catherine Febria, Trevor Pitcher and Dean Chris Houser, and members of Walpole Island gave students a new perspective on ecological research.  Students got to learn about Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and approach ecology through the lens of appreciating the environment while learning how to study it.
